Pixelated pop-up heart

My elder sister's birthday card :D
This was easy but the folding part was god-damned risky ._.

I asked my niece(a.k.a her daughter) to do the cover.

And I touched it up a bit :)

Wechat sticker inspired birthday card

*I do not own the wechat bunny, all rights belong to +WeChat Malaysia  * credits to them for the awesome bunny sticker xD

Anyways.. it's a bunny with fire shooting out of it's ears. (cool isn't it?)

 Cardboard SKETCH :D

Le random white buncho paint appears again!!

 The safety pin handle :P

Random sketch

cuz I just know somehow the fella will over-pull.

Happy birthday!!

And it changes !! :D

The wooden house

The wooden house puzzle is a Chinese New Year present from my cousin (lol, ever heard of peopple giving presents on chinese new year? no ? lol. figures :P)
I'm still deciding whether or not I should color it since it looks kinda bland.. (I thought only food is bland ._.)
Lol, but the wood-y touch is nice isn't it? (p.s I kinda broke a few pieces while putting it together *swt*)

The finished product + some instagram filters xD

the original pack(sorry I couldnt rotate it ._.)

The pieces!!!

Stained glass :D

Back from big bad wolf sale, and I got a box of stained glass art kit for RM10 :D and while other people go out and shop for dresses, I'm painting at home. (lol, hahahaha x) ) Anyways, to do this ...
you need :

1.the stained glass kit. (DUH :P)
2.Lots of time. (took me half a day)
3.LOADS of patience. (good training for patience :P)
4.Maybe a good eye for color? (cause the instructions for coloring isn't very clear.Had to keep referring to the original picture.)
Stick it on the window and let the sunshine pass through it :D

 The kit.(RM 10 nia, no joke :P)

 The inside :P

Have to paint a few layers to give it the effect.

Model Perintis (Pioneering Model)

To those of you who are going for king's scouts, this is what I did for my model perintis (pioneering model). Took me...

a while to stop procrastinating  (thx my scouting comrades for moral support)
a day to plan out what to build (thx Rachael *2nd sis who is an architect for ideas*)
an evening to saw bamboo from grandma's place (thx MOM for helping me)
3-4 days just to slice bamboo (thx DAD for touching up the badly sliced ones)
2 days to cut bamboo to desired length (thx GREAT-GRANDPA for opening the hardware store)
2 days to smoothen and tie the main structure and platform. (thx SENIORS for advice)
2 days to shellac the whole thing multiple times.(thx BRO n CAT for moral support)
1 day to touch up some stuff (thx Beng Jie for awesome ideas n support)

All in all, it took me.. 1 week+ and all I can say is.. couldn't have done it without my fabulous scouter (thx SHANG SHI) whom I constantly bugged to ask EVERYTHING(no joke there). At the age where normal teens are dating and what not, there I am...pathetically texting my scouter(life of a king's scout candidate =/). Anyways,I swear to god, I couldn't have done it without his supervising and patience. Many a times I wonder how he wasn't annoyed about constantly having to reply me.(paranoid much). Anyways,APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH N THANKS!

Moving on.. This is what the completed(not quite) model looks like. The complete version has a netting in the middle hanging from the triangle,so that assuming if it were a life size pioneering tower, less people would fall off.and die.(touch wood!)

     Sliced bamboo.(satay sticks?hahahahha.NO)
Roughly pencil size

Main structure
(according to seniors, once you're done tying, throw it to check the firmness of knots
or in malaysian language..)
"campak n see ,if koyak then do again".

The top part structure for platform.

Start of the platform.
Making the platform was.. lots of work

 Endless measuring and cutting..
 Muahahhaa~looks good :D
One side done, 2 more to go.
It was a real challenge as some of the pieces fall off if you didn't tie it properly
 human VS platform
HUMAN WINS*victory dance*
The inner fence.

Before shellac
Somehow it looks like a Japanese sushi roller.
Lots of people ask me not to shellac it but...yeah =/

Plan of the pioneering model

*victory dance*

Good luck to those of you attempting to make your pioneering model.Great experience as lots
of patience is needed :)

Clapperboard

The movie scene cutting thingy where people shout.. "CUTTTTT!" and it goes.. "pak!"
I made it earlier this year since a group of classmates were shooting a video for our project.

me-mustache :3

I cut 3 cardboard from a box and wrapped it with black paper.

I draw lines on 2 small cardboards.
Le random white buncho paint appears again~~

and then a small cardboard to hold the clapper together.

It has to be mobile so I pinned it with a thumbtack...

and bent the shard edge to hold it together.

and wrote some stuff on the big board~

TA-DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

yes, that is me being pathetic-ly awesome with my clapperboard :P
(I'm a scout btw,ignore the BSMM sign =] )
